In the depths of the world of Patapon 2, the Patapon tribe embarks on an epic journey across the ocean toward Earthend, the promised land. After joining forces with their former enemies, the Zigoton tribe, to build a powerful ship, they bravely sailed through uncharted waters. But fate intervened when a giant sea monster attacked, destroying their ship and casting them onto the shores of a mysterious island.
On this new land, the Patapons face a new threat—the Karmen tribe, old enemies who once again stand in their way. Amid this chaos, a mysterious warrior known as the Hero appears, wearing a mask that grants him special powers but having lost his memory. As the Patapons progress, they uncover a plan by the Karmen to summon a destructive demon named Dettankarmen to take over the world. In a decisive battle, the Patapons manage to defeat the demon and later discover a mysterious egg containing the Patapon princess, who was being held captive by the Karmen leader Ormen Karmen, who planned to make her his queen. In the end, the Patapons, Karmen, and Zigotons unite to repair the bridge leading to the new lands, symbolizing unity and cooperation among the once-warring tribes.
