The school year at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix begins filled with tension. After the events of the previous year and the return of Lord Voldemort, the wizarding community refuses to believe the truth, and the Ministry of Magic decides to conceal the matter at all costs. They send Umbridge, a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, to the school to impose strict laws and prevent students from learning defensive spells. This leads Harry and his friends to form Dumbledore’s Army, a secret group that trains for combat in anticipation of the upcoming confrontation.

However, things don’t go smoothly. Every corner of the school hides an eye watching, and the walls themselves seem to spy on the rebellion Harry leads from the Room of Requirement, a hidden room where the army secretly meets in the secret passages that help them escape Umbridge’s surveillance. The player finds themselves in a whirlwind of challenges and tests, and with each passing day, the dangers grow until they reach a climax when Harry and his friends are dragged into a deadly confrontation inside the Ministry of Magic, where they face Voldemort and his followers.

What makes this version of the game unique is its open design, allowing the player to explore Hogwarts freely, from its tall towers to its deepest corridors. There is no set path that forces you to follow it; instead, you create your own adventure. You talk to characters, gather clues, and complete tasks that bring you closer to uncovering the truth. Additionally, using spells has never been this fun. Instead of just pressing a button, you have to perform certain movements with your wand through the control units, making you feel like a real wizard. If you need to open a locked door, you’ll use the “Alohomora” spell. If you want to light up the darkness, try “Lumos,” or if you enter a confrontation with Voldemort’s followers, be ready to cast attack and evasive spells using precise movements, keeping you excited in every moment. One of the standout elements is managing Dumbledore’s Army, where you can train your companions in various spells, from self-defense to fighting, with thrilling moments during confrontations against Umbridge’s forces and the army she is trying to build to monitor and control Hogwarts.

In addition to the main story, there are many side activities, such as playing Gobstones, challenging friends in magical chess matches, or even participating in Quidditch training, which adds extra depth to the experience, making it feel more immersive.

Compared to previous games, this one marks a huge leap in terms of graphics, gameplay, and the open-world details, unlike earlier parts that were more linear. Here, you have much more freedom to explore and make decisions. The spell system has become more advanced, making the combat and adventures more exciting than ever before. Even the graphics have seen a significant improvement, with characters looking more realistic and environments more detailed, making you feel as though you’re really inside the magical Hogwarts School. Additionally, more dynamic dialogues have been added, making every character feel like they have a real role in the story, enhancing the experience of diving into the magical world as if you were living it yourself. In the end, this release wasn’t just a game; it was an interactive, immersive experience for Harry Potter fans, filled with adventures, challenges, and secrets that make every moment unforgettable.
